Our Veteran’s area, located just inside the main gates of the cemetery, is where you’ll find a monument in memory of soldiers, sailors, and marines that was dedicated on May 30, 1929. It was donated by St Croix County and the City of Hudson, Wisconsin, and it stands before the two rows of veterans interred in that section. You’ll also find the Roll of Honor sign, a plaque that was donated to the cemetery that recognizes the local men who lost their lives during WWII. Planted at the foot of the Veteran’s Monument are the various flag holders found throughout the cemetery that pay tribute to our veterans laid to rest here. There are multiple flag holders that date all the way back to the Civil War.
